Description
[b]Final Fortress[/b] is a classic fortress-style map consisting of seven players [four defenders and three attackers]. The objective of the game depends on which side you choose to play; the defending team or the attacking team. The defending team, who originally controls the top half of the map, attempts to hold the attackers away from their throne for 60 game minutes [roughly 45 real-time minutes]. If the attacking forces destroy their throne, the game is over, with the assaulting team victorious. This is no easy task, however, for each defender has their own set of unique heroes and elite units to keep the evil attackers at bay. Be on your guard though, for the assaulting teams also has a strong set of heroes and elite units as well.
While the defending team can lose by their throne being destroyed, they can also lose if player 1's [white's] main heroes die, so use them wisely! The attacking team can also lose this way, if each player's main hero dies.
Upgrading is an important part of the game, which requires minerals. Minerals can be obtained in two ways; by killing a certain amount of units [that number varying depending on what character you play as] or by killing an enemy hero.
This game is currently at version [b]4.4[/b], and is near completion. There are only a few more modifications that can be made to perhaps enhance the game play slightly, but for the most part is complete. The maps [b]Final Fortress 2[/b] and [b]Final Fortress 3[/b] are also close to completion, so keep an eye out for them!
